3/11/09 update:  Changes to the network on campus have most likely rendered shortcuts and other existing links to Unity useless. The instructions below will need to be following in order to re-establish a conenction to Unity. Old shortcuts/links should be discarded and replaced with new ones.

 

On-campus -- PC:
        -- From most locations on campus:  
              - Start > Run 
              - Type: \\unity
              - Click OK 
              - Click on Shared Files

          -- If the above doesn't work, try:  
              - Start > Run 
              - Type: \\unity.unca.edu\\sharedfiles
              - Click OK 
              - Click on Shared Files

        -- From Ramsey Library:  
              - Start > Run 
              - Type: \\unity.unca.edu\\sharedfiles
              - Click OK
              - Click on Shared Files

Off-campus -- PC:
              - Start > Run 
              - Type: \\unity.unca.edu\\sharedfiles
              - Click OK 
              - Click on Shared Files

On-campus and off-campus -- Mac:
              - Click on Go > Connect to Server
              - Server address: afp://unity  (if that doesn't work, type: afp://unity.unca.edu)
              - Click on Connect
              - Select Guest
              - Click Connect
              - Click on Shared Files
