Requests for accounts for new Faculty or Adjuncts must be made through Academic Affairs, as follows: New Adjuncts : Contact person: Cindy Reagan Phone: 251-6490 Email: creagan@unca.edu New regular Faculty, and Lecturers: Contact person: Elaine Warren Phone: 251-6471 Email: ebwarren@unca.edu Depending upon the type of account requested (Faculty or Adjunct), the user should contact the appropriate person as indicated above. They, in turn, will make the proper request to ITS (Joy Jones, Richard White).
A new fac/staff must first create their password via OnePort before logging in to their PC for the first time. Set your initial password by going to http://oneport.unca.edu and clicking on the "First Time Login" link. Once the password is set, the user may log onto their PC. After turning the computer on, you will see a login window. Next to username, type in your fac/staff username . Type in new  password (from the reset in OnePort). Email Accounts Currently (May 2009), email accounts are created for all new student applicants who have been accepted to UNCA and invited to attend, regardless of whether or not they have committed to attending UNCA. Due to the fact that this process ultimately creates a number of unused accounts, this pratice may be either stopped or amended in the near future.   OnePort Accounts OnePort accounts are created for newly accepted students once UNCA has received their initial tuition deposit.
