When a staff will no longer be using a Blackberry device assigned to him/her or the Blackberry is going to be passed on to someone else for use, the existing data on it will need to be cleared off and the Blackberry reset before ITS can configure it for use by someone else. The user will need to contact Judy Waycaster (ext. 4995 or waycaste@unca.edu) and request that she contact Verizon to have the existing account deleted. Once this has been done, a request can be made to the HelpDesk for a work ticket to be submitted (under PDA ) to have it set up for a new user, if desired.
