Mathematica 2007-2008 passwords expire on 6/30/2008. Old passwords will continue to work during a 31-day grace period of 7/1/2008 through 7/31/2008. They will no longer work beginning 8/1/2008. 15 days prior to expiration, a window will be displayed upon logging in, requesting the new password. The new password can be entered or the window may be dismissed and Mathematica used during the warning period. There is a new version (as of June, 2008) of Mathematica for faculty and staff users only: 6.0.3 Faculty and staff using and should contact Patrick Bahls (ext. 5190; pbahls@unca.edu ) for installation media. Faculty and staff needing Linux or other installation media should contact Bob Benites (ext. 6811; benites@unca.edu ). The student version of Mathematica was not updated with the 2008-2009 contract. It is still at 6.0.2.1.
