Press * when the recorded message begins
When prompted, enter the 4-digit extension ("ID") you wish to check, then press # .
When prompted, enter the password, then press # .
If you have messages, you will receive a recorded notification to that effect.

Instead of dialing the extension and letting it ring four times:
Press the Transfer key
Press *
Dial the extension you wish to transfer to
Press the Transfer key

In order for your Cisco IP phone and your computer to work properly together, they should be connected as follows, using two ethernet (network; CAT5) cables:
First cable: Ethernet port on wall to "SW" port on phone
Second cable: "PC" port on phone to ethernet port on computer
If the phone works but the computer can't get online, try restarting the computer. If that doesn't resolve the issue, submit a ticket under Network > VOIP for assistance.
